1. Your data – what we collect and store

a. Your name, address and contact details

This information is our requirement to deliver the goods to you after placing your order. We may use your data to contact you regarding your order.

b. Your payment information

To place an order with EcoEnergy, you must provide your payment information (payment card details). We do not store or have access to this information in any form. For security reasons, we use a third party (known as WooCommerce Payments) to process payments and refunds and to prevent fraud.

In addition, your delivery address and invoice details as well as the associated telephone number will also be transferred to WooCommerce Payments. This information is shared with EcoEnergy as part of the order details provided.

Depending on how you choose to pay, the third party will be WooCommerce Payments. The company complies with the requirements of PCI-DSS (Payment Card Data Security Standard).

All direct payment gateways conform to the PCI-DSS standards managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

c. Your contact history

E-mail

When you send us an e-mail, we will keep the details of our communication with you. We may use this data to provide you with services and support. We may also use this data to train our employees.

Telephone

We do not store any information regarding phone calls. We do not record any phone calls

Mail list

We do not store any information related to written correspondence. All written correspondence is then taken up and then destroyed.

2. Information from a computer or device

When you browse our website, information is sent to us, which includes your IP address, pages visited, device type and details about your internet browser. Your IP address may provide us with information about your location.

This data is used primarily for fraud prevention purposes. We may also use this information for analytical purposes to help us improve our website and monitor our service levels.

– Delivery companies – to receive the order

– Website – e-commerce platform that allows us to sell products

– Emails – Communication is retained in the cloud email application to provide customer service and support

 

5. Joining our mailing list

When you subscribe to our mailing list, we will send you information by e-mail about the products, promotional codes and special offers that are available.

How to stop messages from EcoEnergy

You can click the unsubscribe link in any marketing message.

You can also contact us at admin@ecoenergyhome.co.uk and request a deletion.

Removal from the mailing list is usually immediate, however if an email is scheduled to be sent you may receive another one while your request is being processed.

If you unsubscribe from our mailing list, messages about your orders (such as confirmation messages) and other necessary services will continue.

 

6. Keeping your information on file

We will only store personal data on our systems for a limited period of time. This period will be determined as a matter of internal policy and will be the minimum necessary for our use.

7. Our online platform

Our store is hosted on JDM. They provide us with an online platform through which we can sell products to our customers. All data provided by the client is stored on JDM servers.
